Wewood was founded in 2010 and is the fruit of Móveis Carlos Alfredo’s research and development office, a family business specialized in the manufacturing of furniture in solid wood since 1964. Their legacy is deeply rooted in more than five decades of artisanal manufacturing. Finishing touches are made by hand, which is a far cry from standardized large-scale production.
Each item is born from the inspiration and creativity of a limited group of talented designers and architects. Their furniture come alive in Portugal where they are manufactured with the expertise of the brand’s artisans.
Their manufacture aspires to be of high-end quality and rests on renewable resources. The wood they use comes from sustainable forests and the materials they use are environmentally friendly.
