Luba AAA346 stool

This exceptional stool from the Luba tribe, dating from the middle of the 20th century in the Democratic Republic of Congo, is distinguished by the presence of four characters. Beyond its function as a seat, it served as a receptacle for the spirit of the leader. The stylistic influences seem to merge the Luba and Zande traditions. Measuring 33.5x33x41 cm and made of natural wood, this piece testifies to a remarkable cultural and artistic richness.
